Carbon Dioxide Utilization Using Chlorella Microalgae

The problem of the excessive CO2 emitted into atmosphere is one significant problems for modern world and ecology. This article examines dynamics carbon dioxide absorption from thermal power plants, TPP, waste gases by three types microalgae, most typical Russian Federation: Chlorella kessleri, vulgaris, sorokiniana. exhaust TPP contain up to 39% dioxide. In this work, rate model with a content was studied. As result study, species microalgae (Chlorella vulgaris) identified, characterized maximum = 0.412 g/L·day volume utilized in 1 day 8.125 L. conducted research proved possibility utilizing large (up 39%) help genus Chlorella. A scheme utilization also proposed, which meets principles circular economy (closed cycle).
